How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Glitter Beard
Here are the steps to grow a glitter beard, and the best part is that you can do it with just about any beard style.
1. Grow out and shape your beard.
The first step that you will need to do is to grow and style your beard. Beard growth supplements will help promote healthy facial hair while giving your a full beard at the same time. A beard-shaping tool will allow you to style your beard by showing predefined curves for your cheeks. Just hold the tool up to your face and shave or trim along the contours of the tool. It doesn’t matter the size or style of your beard to perform this effect.
2. Apply an adhesive to your beard.
After you have the beard shaped and styled the way that you want, you will need to apply some sort of adhesive for the glitter to stick to. You can use a strong hair gel, or you can mix the glitter into a beard butter for a more subtle look.
3. Bring on the glitter!
Finally, you will want to apply the glitter to your beard. Mix the glitter into whateve adhesive you choose, and rub it into your hands, running it through your beard from root to tip. If you want a more obvious look, you can put a thicker amount of adhesive on your beard and then dump the glitter right on.
4. Shave it off when you’re done.
This is one of those styles that you probably only want to rock for a day or two. We recommend shaving the beard off completely when you’re finished, as the glitter will likely be difficult to remove.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Hulihee Beard Shape
Here are the steps to grow your Hulihee beard with a little bit of time and patience:
1. Grow a large beard
To begin, grow out a full-sized beard. You can have shorter hairs in the beginning, but eventually, you’ll need long hairs along your chin line that signifies this beard style. We recommend getting at least 2” to 4” hairs for the best effect. If you are starting from scratch, try adding a beard growth supplement to your daily vitamin routine to kickstart growth.
2. Trim and shape the beard.
Use a beard-shaping tool to help style your beard while shaving. This beard type has a nice uniform look even though the side hairs will eventually furl outward. Shave your cheeks and neckline to give it a sharper look.
3. Shave off the chin hairs.
Next, you will need to shave off the hairs on your chin to get the right look. Use a razor to remove everything from the neckline up to your lips. Some might leave a little bit of a soul patch but generally speaking; you will want to keep it low-cut or remove it completely. A good rule of thumb is to shave to the width of your lips.
4. Grow and brush out the neckline
Continue to grow out your chin line hair while grooming and styling the beard correctly. As these hairs grow longer and longer, you need to brush them outwards for the signature Hulihee beard style. You can also use a beard butter to help shape your beard in the direction you need it to go.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect Hulihee beard:

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect 5 O’clock Shadow
Growing a 5 o’clock shadow is quick and easy. The most important thing is to take good care of your skin so it looks clean and well-maintained.
1. If you have a beard, shave it off.
If you’ve been working on a longer beard style, it’s going to need to go. We recommend shaving it completely with a razor. Don’t forget to use a good shave lube in order to minimize knicks and cuts or the dreaded razor burn.
2. Skip shaving on day 2 and maybe day 3.
The 5 o’clock shadow looks best after a day or two of growth. While you won’t have to worry about shaving for a day or two, you should still cleanse your face daily with a facial cleanser and use a moisturizer to prevent itchy, dry skin.
3. Maintain your stubble by keeping it trimmed up.
There’s a fine line between an intentional 5 o’clock shadow and looking like you just forgot to shave for a while. Keep your stubble in check by using your trimmer with one of the lowest guards (usually a 0 or 1) every 2-3 days.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect 5 o’clock shadow:
- Wild Willies Shave Lube: to prevent knicks, cuts, and razor burn

Long Amish Beard
How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Amish Beard Shape
Growing an Amish beard is a commitment. If you’re going to do it, you have to be in it for the long haul.
1. Grow, grow, grow.
Ultimately, you’re going to need to grow out your beard over a period of years. Typically, an Amish man stops cutting his beard when he gets married, as a symbol of commitment. (Amish men do not wear wedding rings.) For newlyweds who want to jumpstart their beard growth, try a growth supplement containing Biotin, which promotes hair growth.
2. Ditch the mustache.
If you struggle to grow a mustache, you’re in luck; this beard style requires you to not have a mustache. If you do grow a mustache, shave it daily using a razor and shave lube.
3. Trim clean lines above your jawline.
This beard starts right at or above the jawline, so everything above that should be clean-shaven. You can use a razor or your trimmer with no guard. Use a shaping tool to ensure clean lines.
4. Be patient.
As the beard grows, you may go through an awkward growth stage, but try to leave it alone and continue to let your beard hair grow. If the sides of your beard tend to get a bit unruly, you can use a beard brush and beard butter to brush the sides down and keep them tame. As the hair grows, you may want to use a beard straightener, too.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect Amish beard:
- Wild Willies Shave Lube: to get a close, clean shave.
- The Edge Beard Shaping Tool: to get clean lines above the jawline.
- Beard Balm and Butter Combo Set: to tame down the sides and keep this style looking well-groomed.
- Beard Straightener: for once your beard gets super long.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Winter Beard Shape
Growing a winter beard isn’t too difficult, but you will want to get started ahead of the season. Here are the steps to grow your own winter beard.
1. Grow Out a Big Beard and Start Soon
The first step to growing a winter beard is getting it as big as possible. Remember, these beards are designed to fill your entire face and neckline with lots of hair. Depending on how fast your facial hair grows, you must give ample time to let that beard get nice and thick. Start the process early, say in the summer, so you’ll be ready when winter does arrive.
2. Nurture the Growth with Supplements
As you grow out your winter beard, you need to make sure that you are providing it with the right nutrients and minerals it needs. Daily supplements give your facial hair the best chance of growing healthy and looking its best. You can also use a beard serum to thicken and enhance your beard even more.
3. Trim and Style Your Winter Beard
Once your beard starts getting long, you must trim and style it to maintain a proper look. You can use scissors and a comb to trim your hair to a uniform length. The key here is to not chop off too much hair, or you’ll set yourself back timewise. You just want to get it down to an even length that looks nice. Use a beard-shaping tool and razor to shave along the cheek and bottom necklines. A beard straightener also works well because you’ll get a straight, styled beard as it grows.
4. Continue to Grow and Maintain
From here, you will just want to grow out and maintain your winter beard to the desired length you’re looking for. There is no set limit for length, but generally speaking, you will want it at least two inches for a nice full beard and no more than 6-8 inches long if you want to keep a traditional-looking winter beard. However, feel free to grow it as long as you’d like. As long as it covers your face from the snow, it’ll work.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect winter beard:
- Beard Growth Supplements: Promotes a healthy, thick, and full beard.
- The Expert Grooming Kit: Comes with everything you need to style your winter beard, including scissors for trimming, a razor and beard shaping tool for styling, and a brush and comb to maintain a consistent look.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Verdi Beard Shape
The Verdi beard can be remarkable, but it will take proper maintenance and styling to get it right. Take these steps to grow a true Verdi Beard.
1. Grow Out a Full Beard
Before you begin, you will need to grow a good-sized beard to have enough facial hair to work with. We recommend taking gummy supplements to help promote beard growth while giving your hair what it needs to be healthy. The beard itself should be 2-4 inches in length.
2. Trim Back the Beard While Growing the Mustache Longer
What makes the Verdi beard style is that the mustache is longer than the rest of the beard and usually curled upwards. You must keep the beard hair around your cheek and necklines in the 2-4 inch range while allowing your mustache to grow longer. Use a beard trimmer to keep the beard hair at an optimal length. Also, consider keeping your beard clean and soft with beard butter as it grows.
3. Style the Verdi Beard and Keep It Groomed
Finally, you will want to style the Verdi beard. That means using a beard straightener to tame the unruly hairs. Then use a beard balm or wax to style your mustache. After applying the product, you can use a brush to pull the hairs out straight or use your fingers to round out the mustache hairs. Wrap the hairs around your fingers and twirl them, creating an upward loop as you commonly see for the Verdi beard. After that, keep your beard groomed and at a moderate size.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect Verdi beard:
- Beard Growth Gummies Supplement: These give your beard what it needs to grow full and healthy.
- Beard Butter - Original: Helps maintain a clean and soft-looking beard.
