Follow these steps to grow a monkey tail beard and have fun with it!
1. Grow Out a Beard and Mustache
The first thing you will need to do to grow a monkey tail beard is to grow out a full beard and mustache. The more hair you have to work with, the easier the rest of the steps will be. We recommend growing at least 3-5 mm.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Royal Beard Shape
Follow these steps to achieve the royale beard style with or without the chin strap.
1. Trim up all your beard hairs.
Trim up your entire beard so there is consistency in the length. We recommend anywhere from a 4-6 mm attachment on your trimmer.
2. Define your goatee.
Next you’ll want to use a razor or your trimmer without an attachment to define the goatee shape. Remove a small space between your mustache and your chin on either side.
3. Straighten up the chin strap, if you’re keeping it.
