How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Chin Curtain Beard Shape
The chin curtain beard is one of those facial hair styles that doesn't take much maintenance and can significantly impact your overall look.
1. Grow out the best full beard you can.
To have a great chin curtain beard, you'll need to have enough facial hair to cover your chin and jawline. This starts by growing out a bushy beard to get the length you will need. The Wild Willies Beard Growth Supplement will jumpstart your beard growth to help grow your facial hair out quickly.
2. Messy Or Clean? The Choice Is Yours
The great thing about the chin beard style is that you can make it as unruly or clean as you'd like. Generally speaking, you will want your beard with neck hair to come to a point where it covers the bottom of your face. It can then be styled to furl outward or you can just let it run wild. Use a beard straightener for a more sophisticated look or a cleaner style.
4. Continue To Grow And Maintain A Healthy Beard
For this beard type, it's important that you keep the hair moisturized and healthy. Continue to grow it to the length you'd like, but don't forget to use products like Wild Willies Beard Oil to keep your beard hydrated and soft. It just takes a dab and any dry or coarse hair will feel like a plush pillow!
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect chin curtain beard:
- Wild Willies Beard Growth Supplement: This chin beard requires a massive amount of hair, so these natural supplements will help you grow it to the length you need.
- Wild Willies Beard Straightener - V.2: If you'd like a more uniform chin beard, you will want to use a beard straightener to keep your beard hair styled and uniform.
- Wild Willies Beard Oil - Original: Use this beard oil to moisturize your facial hair daily.

A circle beard is similar to a goatee, forming a circle around the mouth. Follow these steps to get a great-looking circle beard.

There are plenty of variations on a circle beard, from plain and simple to more complex. Here’s a few options so you can find a look that fits your style.

Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam gives the circle beard a bit of a hipster twist by adding a thin neckstrap and a bit more chin hair.
Leonardo DiCaprio
Is there any beard style out there that Leo CAN’T pull off?? He takes a simple goatee approach but without the length, keeping it less obvious and with a closer shave.
How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Circle Beard Shape
You’ll need to grow your facial hair out for 2-4 weeks, depending on how long you want the beard to look.
1. Shave the hair around your cheeks and on your neck, but keep the area around your mouth.
Once you have a few weeks of growth you’ll want to use a razor to shave off the areas around your cheeks and below your neck, but keep the area around your mouth and chin intact. Always use a shave gel to prevent razor burn. If you’re going for a clean look, you’ll likely need to shave these areas daily.
2. Trim up the area around your mouth and chin.
With your beard trimmer, use an attachment size just a little bit longer than your desired length. Outline the sides, with about a half-inch indent from each corner. You can use grooming scissors to get more precision, and even create a gradient look by trimming the top part shorter than the part around your chin.
3. Always moisturize.
No matter what you’re doing with your beard, you should always moisturize your face to keep your skin healthy. A good daily moisturizer is a must-have in your grooming routine.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect circle beard:
- Wild Willies Beard Growth Supplement: to jumpstart your initial growth period
- Wild Willies Shave Lube: for daily shaving to prevent razor burn
- The Arsenal Men’s Grooming Kit: use the multi-purpose scissors to achieve the gradient look
- Wild Willies Smooth With SPF: use daily to protect your skin and keep it hydrated.

If you’re intentionally trying to grow a neckbeard, make sure you do it right. Follow these steps to achieve a well-groomed neckbeard rather than an unkempt look.
Neckbeards in the Media
Neckbeards may have gotten a bad name these days, with Urban Dictionary using the term to describe a guy who is socially awkward, a bit unkempt, and spends his days playing video games in his parents’ basement. But if you take the right approach and put a little bit of effort into your grooming routine, you can make the style yours and pull it off.
So, is the neckbeard coming back? You be the judge!
Colby Rasmus With the Unkempt Neckbeard
The style is a little bit dated, but who says it can’t make a comeback?! Former MLB player Colby Rasmus is seen here sporting the neckbeard with a bit of scruff around the cheek line. His long sideburns contribute to the “IDGAF” look he’s going for here.
LeBron with the Well-Trimmed Neckbeard
We think this style is a bit more 2022. It has more of an “I did this intentionally” look rather than an “I woke up this way” look. Adding a mustache and a very subtle soul patch adds a little bit of class to the style.
How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Neckeard Shape
If you’re going to attempt a neckbeard, we suggest going for the LeBron look, with nice clean edges around the cheek line. Follow these steps to own the neckbeard and rock it in style.
1. Keep clean lines around your cheeks.
The most important thing to remember is to keep clean lines around your cheeks. If you struggle with symmetry, you can use a beard-shaping tool to help. Hold it against your cheek while you carefully pull the razor along the edges of the shaping tool to achieve a clean, symmetrical look. Use a good-quality shave gel to prevent redness and bumps. Shave daily to prevent stubble that creeps up onto the cheeks and could potentially diminish the look.
2. If you want to add a mustache, keep it trimmed.
You can ditch the mustache completely, but if you want to add one, keep it short and trimmed to match the hair around your neckline. Use your trimmer on a close setting to keep the mustache visible, yet subtle.
3. Keep your beard short.
We prefer a cleaner look with the neckbeard, keeping your beard hair trimmed short. Again, use your trimmer on a close setting and trim it up every few days.
4. Use a daily moisturizer.
Since you’ll be showing a bit of skin, be sure to keep it soft with a daily moisturizer that will prevent redness after shaving and ward off dry skin, especially during the winter months.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect neckbeard:
- Wild Willies Shave Lube: to get a close shave without razor burn
- The Edge Beard Shaping Tool: to maintain clean lines around your cheeks

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect 70’s Mustache Shape
You have a little bit of leniency when growing out a ’70s mustache, but there are some steps you will still want to keep in mind when growing one.
1. Grow Out The Stache
The first thing you obviously must do is grow the mustache out. A 70’s mustache tends to be a little thicker and extends past the sides of the lips. When growing it out, you should aim for half an inch to an inch or more. If you are struggling to get a nice-looking mustache, then try some daily beard gummy supplements. They do a great job of boosting hair growth and making it nice and thick.
2. Trim And Style
Next, you will want to trim and style the mustache to your liking. There’s no definitive look, but they often are thicker and well-groomed. A grooming kit will help out here because they contain everything you need to take care of your mustache. Use the scissors, comb, and brush to trim back unwanted hair and brush the hairs uniformly in one direction. The hairs on the sides of the mouth can be anywhere from the top lip to the jawline.
3. Keep It Lookin’ Groovy
Finally, make sure that you are nurturing your new 70s mustache. You can use beard shampoo and conditioner to keep it clean and then apply beard oil to keep it hydrated. This will ensure that the mustache doesn’t become too hard or brittle over time. We recommend doing this at least once every day or every two days.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect 70’s mustache:
- Beard Growth Gummies Supplements: Take these daily to help grow your facial hair with the vitamins and nutrients it needs to stay healthy.
- The Expert Grooming Kit: Contains a razor, scissors, brush, comb, and beard-shaping tool to get the perfect look for your 70s stache.
- Beard Oil - Original: This great-smelling beard oil will keep your mustache hydrated and feeling soft throughout the day.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Winter Beard Shape
Growing a winter beard isn’t too difficult, but you will want to get started ahead of the season. Here are the steps to grow your own winter beard.
1. Grow Out a Big Beard and Start Soon
The first step to growing a winter beard is getting it as big as possible. Remember, these beards are designed to fill your entire face and neckline with lots of hair. Depending on how fast your facial hair grows, you must give ample time to let that beard get nice and thick. Start the process early, say in the summer, so you’ll be ready when winter does arrive.
2. Nurture the Growth with Supplements
As you grow out your winter beard, you need to make sure that you are providing it with the right nutrients and minerals it needs. Daily supplements give your facial hair the best chance of growing healthy and looking its best. You can also use a beard serum to thicken and enhance your beard even more.
3. Trim and Style Your Winter Beard
Once your beard starts getting long, you must trim and style it to maintain a proper look. You can use scissors and a comb to trim your hair to a uniform length. The key here is to not chop off too much hair, or you’ll set yourself back timewise. You just want to get it down to an even length that looks nice. Use a beard-shaping tool and razor to shave along the cheek and bottom necklines. A beard straightener also works well because you’ll get a straight, styled beard as it grows.
4. Continue to Grow and Maintain
From here, you will just want to grow out and maintain your winter beard to the desired length you’re looking for. There is no set limit for length, but generally speaking, you will want it at least two inches for a nice full beard and no more than 6-8 inches long if you want to keep a traditional-looking winter beard. However, feel free to grow it as long as you’d like. As long as it covers your face from the snow, it’ll work.
