How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Freestyle Beard Shape
Growing a freestyle beard type is fun because you cannot limit what you can do. Here are some things to keep in mind.
1. More Hair Generally Helps
Generally speaking, you will need long hair to work with for a freestyle beard. These beards typically have long points, elaborate curves, or thick bushes of facial hair. That means growing a long, full beard that you can manipulate. If you have difficulty growing facial hair, we recommend taking daily supplements to promote fast and healthy hair growth.
2. Style And Shape With Professional Products
There is no end to the number of ways that you can freestyle your beard, hence the name. Regardless, you will need to use quality products such as good beard butters and beard oil when shaping your beard. A professional grooming kit, quality shave lube, and a beard-shaping tool can go a long way in helping you get the look you want. Just make sure to plan how you want your freestyle beard to go ahead of time.
3. Maintain A Healthy Beard
Finally, you need to take care of your facial hair and skin. Using shampoo and conditioner specifically for beards is crucial, so you don’t strip away essential oils. We also recommend getting a quality beard brush if you want a full, luscious beard.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect freestyle beard:
- Beard Growth Supplements: All-natural ingredients will help you quickly grow a full beard.
- The Expert Grooming Kit: Contains a razor, scissors, comb, brush, and beard-shaping tool so that you can shape your freestyle beard.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Sparrow Beard
Going as Jack Sparrow for Halloween? Or maybe you just really love pirates? Follow these steps and you, too, can look as cool as Johnny Depp!
1. Start growing out your beard hair.
You’ll need at least 5-6 inches of hair before you can start braiding the ends, so this look will take a while to fully achieve. To speed up the growth process and ensure healthy facial hair, add some growth supplements to your daily vitamin routine.
2. Shape your beard.
Once you have a few inches of growth, you can begin to shape your beard. Use your trimmer or a razor to shave your cheeks and sideburns down to your jawline. You should also remove most of the hair on your neck. Leave the mustache, allowing the ends to point downward on either side of your mouth. If you’re using a safety razor, be sure to use a shave lube to get a close shave that is free from cuts.
3. Trim out the soul patch.
Use a thin attachment on your trimmer to create the soul patch. To do this, remove the hair just below your lip, but only on the sides, leaving about an inch in the middle.
4. Braid your chin hair.
Once you have enough length on your chin, split the hair into two sections and braid each section. Run some beard butter through your facial hair first, and then split the first section into three smaller sections, wrapping one section over the other all the way down. Finish off with a decorative bead if you’d like. Then do the same thing with the second section.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect Sparrow beard:
- Wild Willies Beard Growth Gummies: to speed up the growth process.
- Shave Lube: for a close shave and to prevent cuts.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Monopoly Man Shape
The stylistic Monopoly Man mustache isn’t that difficult to make. Here are the steps it takes to grow your own Monopoly Man.
1. Grow A Thick Mustache
The first thing you need for a Monopoly Man is a thick mustache. Specifically, the area above your upper lip should be as thick as possible, extending fully from the top of your lips to the bottom of the nose. Daily beard growth supplements can help you if you have trouble growing a thick mustache.
2. Straightener The Hairs
Next, you should consider straightening the hairs of the mustache. This will give a final look a much cleaner shape and will make curling the ends easier. You can get a professional beard straightener at a reasonable price. Set the temperature for the length of your facial hair as described in the instructions, and slowly straighten the hair. Doing this may take a couple of times before they become tamed, but we guarantee you’ll be impressed with the look.
3. Trim And Style
Finally, you must trim and style the mustache to get the iconic Monopoly Man shape. Grab a grooming kit and use the accompanying comb and scissors to trim your beard. Let just enough hair through the comb you want to cut, and then use the scissors to trim those unwanted hairs. Once you have a nice, clean mustache, then you need to shape it. Apply beard butter balm with your thumb and index fingers, and lightly pull up the ends of the beard. Do this once or twice, and the mustache will take shape.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect Monopoly Man:
- Beard Growth Supplements: All-natural ingredients promote a thick and full mustache.
- Beard Straightener - V2.0: Tame those unruly hairs by using a professional beard straightener

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect English Mustache Shape
The English mustache is a simple style to grow that looks great. Here are the steps to grow one today.
1. Grow Out The Mustache
The first step in growing an English mustache is to start growing a mustache that's an inch or two long. You will be trimming it and may curl the ends up, so make sure you have enough hair to work with before you style it. Apply beard serum daily to help expedite your facial hair and thicken your mustache.
2. Trim And Style
You will then want to trim up the mustache and style it. We recommend getting an expert grooming kit that will contain everything you need. Use the comb and scissors to trim unwanted hair by only letting hair through the comb that you want to cut.
If you are having trouble making straight cuts above your lip, you can also use the beard-shaping tool with the kit. Hold the straight edge to the bottom of your mustache and cut off the excess hair with the scissors. Additionally, you can add beard butter balm to the mustache and twirl the ends upward with your fingers, giving an authentic English mustache look.
3. Shave Leftover Stubble
Finally, don’t forget to shave extra hair or stubble around your face and mustache. This includes the chin, jawline, neck, and cheeks. You can use the supplied razor with the grooming kit and quality shave lube. Wash your face with warm water and lather it with shaving cream. Then shave the contours of your face and rinse with cold water. You now have a perfectly groomed English mustache that’s sure to impress.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect English mustache:

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Imperial Mustache Shape
It takes a little bit of time and grooming to get the imperial mustache to look right, but with enough practice, you can achieve this look. Here are the steps to grow one.
1. Grow The Mustache
The first thing that you need to do is grow a nice mustache. It may take some time, depending on how fast your hair grows. You can take daily gummy supplements to help your facial hair grow. Also, consider trimming your beard every week or twice a week. This will help expedite your facial hair growth. The mustache must be at least two inches on the ends so you can curl it in the final step.
2. Groom And Maintain A Healthy Mustache
As you grow your mustache, you must ensure that you are properly maintaining it. Use a beard shampoo and beard softener to keep it looking its best throughout the process. We recommend washing your mustache with these products every day or two days. This will keep the dirt and grease out of your mustache while not stripping it of the essential oils it needs. You can also invest in a good beard brush to keep those unruly hairs in check.
3. Create The Imperial Curl
The final step to get the imperial mustache look is to curl up the ends. Take a dab of beard butter balm between your index finger and thumb. Then grab the ends of your mustache with your fingers and twist them in your hand. This will cause the hairs to group together and become thin on the ends. Finally, take your index finger and curl the ends around it. You may need to do this several times until it starts to stay.
Here are some of our favorite product recommendations to help you get the perfect imperial mustache:
- Beard Growth Gummies Supplements: These will help you grow a long and thick mustache with the vitamins and minerals your facial hair needs.

How to Grow and Maintain the Perfect Cowboy Mustache Shape
Follow these steps if you’d like to grow out your very own cowboy mustache.
1. Grow Out The Mustache
A cowboy mustache is usually pretty thick and extends past the upper lip and sometimes down to the jawline. You will need to grow a longer and thick mustache to pull this look off. If you have trouble growing facial hair or patchy hair, then we suggest taking daily beard growth supplements. These will aid you in getting long and thick hair for your mustache.
2. Trim And Groom
The next thing you need to do is trim your mustache hairs every so often. In the beginning, you can let it grow out, but eventually, you will want to trim up those unruly hairs. This will do two things. First, it will keep the mustache looking nice and uniform. Second, it will help the hair grow faster. Pick up an expert grooming kit and use the supplied comb and scissors to cut any excess hair from your mustache. You can also use the included razor and beard-shaping tool to style the edges of your mustache and shave the rest of your face.
3. Maintain A Healthy Mustache
Finally, you will want to keep your mustache looking as good as possible. Wash your mustache every day or two with beard wash. Then use a beard softener which will keep that cowboy mustache looking smooth. Top it off with quality beard butter, and you will have a mustache the whole town will be talking about.
